Dismissal Please Read Carefully
If your child is NOT going to be riding their assigned bus home from school, please notify Mrs. Locke and indicate if your child is a walker (any child who lives behind the school that no bussing is provided), if your child is a parent pick-up(parent pick up is located at the K-1 wing door, you must present identification) and if your child will be picked up by Clark St Daycare or riding an assigned bus to Tower St Community Center. Please send an email, prior to the start of school to firstname.lastname@example.org or send in a note indicating a change in dismissal. Please be aware that although your child may have been a walker or parent pick up last year, we still require updated notification for the 2016-17 school year.
SUMMER MEAL PROGRAM
Come celebrate the first Westerly Summer Meals Program at the Tower Street Community Center! This is a kick off event to receive a FREE hot lunch for children/teens 18 yrs and younger during the summer months. Please be aware there will be a small charge of $2 for adult meals.
Everyday at Springbrook School we practice the 3 B's
for an appointment if you are new to the area and would like to schedule a tour of our school. Please be prepared to present your id, the area in which you will be moving to and the grade level of your child/ren. All appointments will be scheduled through Mrs. Locke. Be sure to sign up for parent teacher conferences at this time. They will be held on November 7 with your child's classroom teacher and any other specialist you would like to meet with.Also, please be certain to view all our informational tables.
Will your child be a parent pick-up or daycare pick-up ?
If so, then a note must be written especially for the first day of school. Students are automatically assigned as a bus student or a walker. Parent pick-up is located at the entrance to the K-1 Wing. All students must be signed out, be prepared to show id. Thank you for your cooperation.
