Welcome to Springbrook!
Please feel free to watch our introduction to Springbrook School below.
Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
Our students are offered fresh fruits and vegetables every Tuesday and Thursday. Locally grown produce is used when in season. We encourage all children to taste test their fruit and vegetable cup. This experience creates an excellent opportunity for a dinnertime conversation starter. Please ask your child to share his or her experience and facts they have learned about fruits and vegetables.
We do not provide supervision before 8:25. Please do not deliver your child to school before this time.
School begins at 8:45. Students who arrive after the 8:45 are marked tardy. We begin the school dismissal process at 3:10. Students who are dismissed before 3:10 are marked as early dismissal, and counts against attendance record. Students are dismissed to the bus room, walker door, or the parent pick-up door. If you routinely pick up your child, please us the parent pick-up door.
Excused from PE/Recess
Should your child need to be excused from P.E. due to a health concern or injury, please ask your physician for a doctor's note excusing your child. It would be most helpful if the note states if the exemption also includes recess and what any limitations may be.
Will your child be a parent pick up?
If so, then a note must be written especially for the first day of school. Students are automatically assigned as a bus student or a walker. Parent pick-up is located at the entrance to the K-1 Wing. All students must be signed out, be prepared to show id. Thank you for your cooperation.
